Let’s go Pep and Ronnie!

Pizza, booze, pasta, cocktails, chicken wings, nuggets, and beats. Sounds good,isn’t it? It is not too good to be true. Pep and Ronnie has all of those! Yep, it is a new gastropub and pizza shack in Maligaya 168 Bldg.,Dolores, San Fernando, Pampanga. Pep and Ronnie opens at 11 AM until 1 AM. Like their Facebook and Instagram page to know about their most recent promotions and schedule for gigs!

You might have noticed a well-lighted sign board that says   “PR” whenever you pass by Maligaya 168. I was very much intrigued since it is a new pizza place that is worth a try. I was thinking of where did the name “Pep and Ronnie” came from.🤔

Me: Pep and Ronnie.. Pep and Ronnie… Pep and Ronnie…Pepperoni?… ooohhhh must be PEPPERRRONNIII! hahahaha 😂😂😂

I immediately asked one of the nice waiters if I was correct. And boy, I was so right. hahah Cheers to Pepperoni, I mean Pep and Ronnie!  😂🎉🎆🍸🍹🍻

Pep and Ronnie’s menu will surely arouse your interest when you check it. I like how diverse it is. Their menu is a mix of Filipino, American and Mexican food. For starters you can have Mozarella Nuggets, Pep’s Nachos, Flaming cocktail Shrimp, Ronnie’s Salad and many more. We tried their Chili Spam Fries. It is basically breaded Spam sticks served with Honey Mustard Sauce and PNR sauce. 

Oooohh, I just love it! The sauces compliment the Spam sticks very well since it gives the salty sticks a nice sweet and spicy kick. The presentation? Genius. They used the can itself to hold all of the breaded sticks together. Garnished with some greens and a Jalapeno and placed in a thin wooden platter and I was like, clap, clap, clap. 🤗😉👏👍 haha Well done! I actually saw this one with their FB account and I muttered, ” Gotta try that, wait for me!” You better try it too! Just prepare 240 pHp to 400 pHp for your starters. 

Pep and Ronnie offers signature pizzas which are 12″ in size  and can be cut into 8 slices. The nice thing about their pizza is that they make their own dough. It was quite thin but with just the right consistency and texture so it does not give your face those spiky splinters of crust when you take a bite. 😂lol Flavors? Totally extraordinary and new. I was surprised when I saw them. haha Have you heard of any pizza shacks that offer Ebun Buru pizza and Sushi Pizza? Yep, Pep and Ronnie does! hahah They are innovative enough to include tinapa, salted eggs, kesong puti, adobong mani,and Wasabi with some of their pizza options. Pep and Ronnie was able to capture some of the local and unique flavors that I never imagined to be included in a pizza. Kudos to that! However, if you want to stay on the safe side, you can have PNR pizza, Breakfast pizza, Straw pizza and many more! We tried their Buffalo Chicken Pizza. 

This one is made of their own dough, tomato sauce, chicken thigh, buffalo sauce, and blue cheese dressing. So good! Their pizzas are around 300 pHp to 450 pHp, so sulit! 🤗😉😍

This shack for pizzas also offers main courses which will suffice for 2 to 3 persons and are good for sharing. You can try Blonde Chicken Parmigiana, Grilled Pork Belly, Wagyu Cubes and Eggs and many more! We tried their Jerk-Fried Wings. This consists of Jerk Wings, potato mash, Asparagus, and Mango Pico de Gallo. 

 I used my fingers with eating this dish, excuse me for that.hahah Finger lickin’ good! These main courses ranges from 200 pHp to 420 pHp. 
We were not able to try their desserts and drinks but that will give as an excuse to come back. haha I will surely come back and try their  Carmen’s Best ice Cream and Malted milk which are at 130 pHp. Wait for meeee!

Pep and Ronnie has 4 full pages of drinks. Their Bar Menu is full of options for non alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Your Dad, bro, boyfie and barkadas will like these options since you can have softdrinks, juices, local beers, mocktails, cocktails, and wine. You can have different option if you want to go on-the-rocks, it can be Black Russian, Screw Driver, AK-47 and many more! There are Shooters as well such as B-52, Angel Tips, Bubble Gum and so on. If they have signature pizzas, they surely have signature Pep and Ronnie drinks. I saw Macari, Rathob, Absolute PR and many more. Must try next time! Their drinks ranges from 45 pHp to 250 pHp and can go higher if you order by the bottle. 

Pep and Ronnie is industrial themed so you will see their unfinished brick walls, metal chairs, and pale lighting which gives off that manly vibe.

There is a smoking area as well so you can freely enjoy your food while having a puff of your stick without being concious of your neighbors. 🤗

 Pep and Ronnie features some of the local artists and has schedules for some great beats and acoustic sessions every week.Lesgo party peeps! 😎🤗😉

Their customer service is excellent as well. Their waiters were very attentive with our requests and always gave that smile that made them approachable. Kudos to that! Keep it up! 🤗👍🏆

Good food and good music all at the same place, what more can I ask for? If you are driving along MacArthur Highway, do me a favor and pull over right at Pep and Ronnie please. I tell yah, you won’t regret it! 😉🤗
